This afternoon, Editorial Leadership for section editors students will learn leadership skills through a hands-on scenario activity that will involve role-playing and acting in order to  learn strategies and skills that are applicable  in the future as a staff  editor or other careers and pathways with an incentive on leadership.

The course focuses on building good  organizational and leadership skills, including being a more efficient editor and leader of a publication staff. The class culminates in a project that the students may  showcase to their staff at school at the beginning of the new school year.

“They’re a great class,” said teacher Nancy Smith. “They’re very engaged and enthusiastic.”
