Campers will be surprised by the events planned for today by the Media Now STL Administration team. While the specifics of the activity are unknown, Shirt Kong, a camp sponsor, will be working with the campers.

“We try to make the brand interact with the student,” Media Now STL co-director Kate Manfull said. “I like to make sure that there’s a good experience and a good return from everybody.”

While the group activities will not be revealed until later in the day, the campers will follow a schedule for classes during the day. The day began with a talk from a keynote speaker and was followed by a class session from 9:15 to 11:45 a.m.

“We have a lot of fun things planned for them to do,” Team Design Director Emily Forst said. “It’s always fun to see what the instructors have for the students to do.”

After lunch, campers will attend another class session from 1- 3:45 p.m. which will be followed by the surprise large group activity. Dinner and the final class session  will wrap up the day.

“Honestly I have everything planned out, but when it comes to the camp, I do it day by day,” Manfull said. “A lot of the prizing things and a lot of some of the shorter games that we do are on the fly, which also makes it kind of fun too.”
